Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and storage technologies are used on this site. It was written after auditing what the site actually does in the browser.

Where things stand: this site sets no cookies

As at the last update, this website sets no cookies. It loads no analytics tools, no advertising pixels, no tag manager, no chat and no third-party embeds. Typefaces are served from our own server, so browsing makes no requests to external providers either.

The only thing that may be stored in your browser is your own cookie decision, and only if you interact with the notice.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or visits. Equivalent technologies exist, such as local storage, which serve a similar purpose without technically being cookies.

Exactly what we store

Duration

One item only, and only once you make a choice in the cookie notice:

Why local storage rather than a cookie

Storing the decision in local storage lets the site keep setting no cookies at all, not even to remember your answer. Unlike a cookie, this value is not sent to the server with every request: it stays in your browser.

Categories provided for

The preferences panel covers four categories. Three of them have no technology attached today: they exist so that anything added later is subject to your consent from the outset.

  • Necessary: required to serve the site, keep it secure and remember your decision. No consent required, cannot be switched off.
  • Preferences: would remember display or language settings. None currently in use.
  • Analytics: would measure site usage in aggregate. None currently in use.
  • Marketing: would measure campaigns or advertising. None currently in use.

Managing your preferences

You can open the preferences panel at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. From there you can accept or reject categories, save a specific selection, or withdraw your consent entirely.

You can also block or delete cookies and site data from your browser settings. Doing so will also clear your saved preference, so the notice will appear again.

Third-party sites

This site links to the websites of the businesses Norven operates. Those sites are independent and may use their own cookies under their own policies. This policy covers norvendigitalventures.com only.
