This policy explains what personal data is processed through this website, why, and for how long. It is written against how the site actually works, not from a generic template.

What data we process

Two sets of data are processed through this site, and only two:

  • Data you provide voluntarily through the contact form: name, email address, company (optional), opportunity type (optional) and the content of your message.
  • Technical data generated by any visit to a web server: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and operating system. These are logged automatically by the hosting provider.

Current status of the contact form

As at the last update of this policy, the contact form is not connected to any sending service: it validates your input in the browser and tells you explicitly that the message was not sent, offering the direct email address instead.

That means that, today, whatever you type into the form does not leave your device and does not reach Norven. When sending is enabled, the rest of this policy applies and this section will be updated.

Purposes and legal bases

We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making with legal effects. We do not send bulk marketing from this site, and we do not share your data with third parties for advertising.

  • Responding to your enquiry and continuing the resulting conversation. Basis: your consent in sending the message and, where the exchange is aimed at a possible commercial relationship, pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
  • Assessing and preparing a possible collaboration or proposal. Basis: pre-contractual steps and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in developing the company’s business.
  • Keeping the site secure, preventing abuse and diagnosing incidents, using technical logs. Basis: legitimate interest in protecting the infrastructure.
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations and responding to lawful requests from competent authorities. Basis: legal obligation.

Providers who may access the data

Only the providers strictly needed to run the site and its email are involved:

  • Hostinger International Ltd., as web hosting and corporate email provider. It processes the server technical logs and, when you write to us, the content of the email message.

International transfers

Norven Digital Ventures LLC is a United States company and this site is hosted in a United States data centre. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, your data is therefore processed outside it.

If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom and need details of the transfer mechanism applicable to your case, write to us and we will provide the information we hold.

How long we keep data

  • Contact messages that do not lead to a commercial relationship: kept for the duration of the exchange and a reasonable period afterwards in case you resume contact, then deleted.
  • Messages that do lead to a commercial relationship: kept while that relationship is live and afterwards for the applicable limitation periods, to handle possible claims.
  • Server technical logs: kept for the limited period applied by the hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, and to restrict or object to certain processing, as well as data portability where applicable. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@norvendigitalventures.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to confirm your identity if there is reasonable doubt about who is making the request.

If you are in the European Economic Area and believe your rights have not been properly handled, you can complain to the supervisory authority in your country.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: the site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), system access is restricted, and security headers are applied at the server.

No internet-connected system can be considered invulnerable, so we do not offer absolute security guarantees. We do commit to acting diligently and to notifying where an obligation to do so applies.

Children

This site is aimed at professionals and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the site or the processing described here changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
